Welcome to Signature Swissies. We are Greg and Elizabeth Schuh and live with two wonderful Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Duke is our oldest Swissy and he just turned 4. Duke finished his Championship in January 2007, all owner handled, with 3 majors along with some single points thrown in. Duke and Elizabeth also tackled Obedience, competing at the Novice A level, and went 3 for 3 with earning legs toward the CD (Companion Dog) Title. Duke earned (in order) 195 and High in Trial at the 2008 Lake Shore Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Specialty and in a weekend a few months later earned a 195 in a run off along with Second Place in the Novice A Class as well as Highest Scoring Dog with a CH title on Saturday. On Sunday he scored a 192.5 again earning second place in his class. He ended up being the #1 Swissy in obedience for 2008! Duke also has a few weight pull legs and will be working towards more along with his drafting title, legs toward packing, and Open level obedience.
This spring we added Ruger to our family. She is a happy puppy with lots to do! She recently finished up her puppy kindergarten classes and will keep working on obedience and socializing! We look forward to showing Ruger in conformation along with obedience and all the wonderful working events.
We are members of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, Lake Shore Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club, and Gulf Coast Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club where Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors. We enjoy spending time with our dogs and participating in activities with them that they enjoy.
