Digging

Digging started Friday (yesterday) morning and they're here again today. Pretty much yesterday they were digging trenches for plumbing and started forming for some of the pool. We were supposed to start digging a little earlier but we failed our first inspection. The utility guy didn't get here to mark our utilities before the inspector came. At lease we didn't fail for anything major. The utility guy finally made his way out late Thursday afternoon and then the inspector approved our pool on Friday morning and then they were digging that afternoon. Hopefully it will keep moving along this quickly! The guys did say they thought they'd be done digging by Tuesday.

Duke and Ruger aren't quite sure about all this activity going on in our backyard, and you can see in a few of the photos that Duke is protecting us from the giant machine that was right up to our windows. And, poor Ruger who LOVES her backyard is just beside herself that she can't be out there running, sniffing, and playing. she's going to be one happy puppy when she has her backyard back.
