Rebar and Plumbing

Rebar went in this morning and plumbing this afternoon. Even our designer was shocked at how fast we were moving along. The Project Manager told Greg if it wasn't for the Holidays we probably could have been done by the end of the year.

We did have a minor setback today. The tile we picked out has been discontinued so we have to pick out new tile. It took forever for Greg and I to agree on a tile we liked and then on the grout to go with it! We looked through the tile catalog and we've got some ideas (some of which are WAY different than our original choice) but we'll go into the store and see if we like any of the tiles in person that we picked out in the brochure.

We also paid our first payment today since the hole is dug. Ruger and Greg brought it into the Cody office and then went to the dog park. Without her yard poor Ruger has been going a little stir crazy so on my day off yesterday (and Greg's on vacation all this week and next week) we decided to take Duke and Ruger to the dog park in Round Rock. I thought maybe it wouldn't be very crowded on a work day and also being so close to the Holiday season, I was wrong. Both dogs had a great time, but Duke did so much running and chasing the 'fast' dogs he ended up with a limp, so he had to stay home today. Plus he's a high maintenance park goer. He's so enthusiastic and so energetic and wants to play, play, play and it takes two of us to keep him in control at times. Ruger is much more reserved and so much easier. She plays some, but also really likes to visit with the people and sniff around. But, when she gets home, she is so much calmer and not begging to go out every 5 minutes.

We aren't real thrilled with the placement of some of the returns, you'll see in the photos they're not centered, but they can't go under the waterfall and they are supposed to 'push' towards the skimmers. We're going to see if there's anything we can do to make it look better, but when it's all said and done the returns won't be that noticeable anyway, right?
