Still Digging

They finished up the digging and shaping for the pool today. The steel guy will be here tomorrow and finish up by the afternoon and then the plumber will start working and should finish by Thursday morning. We're flying!!! Greg took some pictures this evening of the final hole, but it was pretty dark - they were here late to get everything finished.

And here's a little Duke story involving the pool workers that I haven't shared yet.

For the most part there's been 3 guys digging for our pool, Duke barked at first especially at the giant machine that was right outside our windows, but then gave up on barking (it was cutting into his sleeping time).



The other day they had a 'new' guy out there with them and Duke actually picked him out and barked at him for the first few minutes he was out there and then was quiet again. He didn't bark at the other 3 guys that had been here working before, but he picked out the new guy. We were shocked that he was able to distinguish a new person in our backyard when he's never met any of the guys working back there.
